Holy Fast-Moving World!

I’m a little embarrassed to tell you I haven’t written in this personal blog for awhile because I couldn’t remember the log-in. Then Susan reminded me today I hadn’t written in awhile, and for some reason I sat down and entered the right log-in the first time I tried. I REALLY want to keep up with this, so I’m glad I remembered it. As soon as I’m finished with this entry, I’ll call and let her know she has a new entry to read. Leaping Lizards, Cattle and Palm Trees!

I am happy to report I have not had a lizard leap onto me. However, as I sit working at my friend’s dining room table, I can see lizards leaping all over in the courtyard outside. I’m going to have to get used to being out on my own, and although I know I need to be careful, I’m not afraid. It’s because I’m ultra careful that I’m not afraid. Continue reading

The Day Needs More Hours

I promise not to use this personal trip blog to complain. But I won’t be able to help it sometimes. Most of all, you’ll probably hear me complaining about the number of hours in the day. I have so much to do, so many things to think about, so many people to meet and philosophies to espouse. How am I supposed to do everything I need to do in the second half of my life? Well, I’m going to die trying to fit it all in. Don’t get your pants in a hitch–I mean I’m going to die at the END of it, which was going to happen anyway, see? Continue reading
